Focus & Approach
OUR FOCUS
The Challenge We Address
Unequal access to quality education affects many young people living in low-income urban and rural communities across India, particularly girls and women. In these communities, schools and families often lack the means to equip children with the skills, guidance, and resources they need to have a fair chance in life.
As a result, social mobility remains limited, and the cycle of poverty persists—where our students come from continues to define their future.
This urgent challenge calls for democratising access to quality, affordable education and building a strong support system that equips young people with everything they need to learn, grow, and earn at par with others.
OUR APPROACH
Democratising Quality Education
We create quality teaching and learning environments for future-makers in low-income communities—opportunities they otherwise wouldn’t have. This empowers them with the self-confidence, awareness, and skills needed to make a shift in their academic and career journeys.

OUR COMMUNITIES
Sustainable Interventions
Our approach is shaped by firsthand experiences and the needs our communities express. That’s why all our offices and centres are located within the urban slums and rural villages we support.

Dharavi
In the heart of Mumbai, Dharavi is one of Asia’s largest slums where we started in 2009.

Sanjay Colony
In one of Delhi’s industrial areas, Sanjay Colony is a vibrant slum where we started in 2016.

Naujheel
One hour from Mathura, Naujheel is a small rural community where we started in 2022.
