Chris, originally from the UK, earned a degree in Business Studies and Spanish from Birmingham University. His love for travel led him to Rio de Janeiro, where he first encountered slum tourism in the favelas.

In 2002, while volunteering at a school for children in an Indian slum, he met Krishna, who later became his friend and business partner. Driven by a passion for sustainable change, he saw how slum tourism could challenge negative stereotypes and support local communities. In 2004 he moved to India, co-founding Reality Tours & Travel in 2005 and Reality Gives in 2009, using responsible tourism to transform lives.

At Reality Gives, he leads the leadership team and supervises the Finance Department, ensuring 100% transparency. Outside of work, he enjoys running, travelling, and exploring health and well-being.
