Krishna’s journey from Heranjalu, a small village in Karnataka, to co-founding Reality Tours & Travel and Reality Gives is inspiring. At 13, he moved to Mumbai, working in restaurants while attending night school. In 2002 he met Chris who shared his idea about slum tourism as a force for local development. Krishna was all in, and together they co-founded Reality Tours & Travel in 2005 and Reality Gives in 2009, using responsible tourism to transform lives.

Passionate about connecting with people and giving back, he ensures Reality Tours and Travel tours are responsible and community-focused. As Chief Functionary at Reality Gives, he supports the team in strengthening community ties and identifying needs. 

In his free time, Krishna enjoys playing cricket and savouring his mother’s homemade fish curry.
